Security & Data Privacy Architecture
4 Pillars of Our Trust Framework
Zero PHI / PII
Exposure
-
Full HIPAA & PHIPA compliance via zero data collection
-
Eliminates patient privacy and entity liability risks
Air-Gapped Infrastructure
-
Zero IT integration for zero security risk
-
Easy Setup with QR Code or URL
Static Reference
Architecture
- Service Worker caching for instant load times
- Local offline sync without network reliance
Read-Only Physical Security
-
Eliminates malware risks via read-only static reference data
-
Printed Badge Backers read-only
Engineered for Strict Healthcare Privacy Standards
Our Progressive Web Application (PWA) and physical badge backer ecosystem are purposely built to maintain complete separation from hospital IT infrastructure and patient records.
HIPAA & PHIPA Compliance
-
Zero Patient Data Exposure: The platform does not collect, transmit, store, or process Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
-
No User Tracking or Profiles: Staff do not create accounts, log in, or input personal credentials. Access is 100% anonymous at the point of care.
-
No Business Associate Agreement (BAA) Required: Because zero health data touches our servers, deployment does not trigger complex BAA or legal privacy oversight delays.
Air-Gapped Infrastructure & Network Security
-
Isolated Caching: Protocols are delivered as static reference assets using Service Worker technology. The app functions entirely client-side once loaded.
-
No EHR/EMR Interactivity: The solution operates as an independent reference layer—there is zero API connection, database integration, or network bridging into your Electronic Health Record systems.
-
Wi-Fi Dead-Zone Resilient: Operates natively in basements, elevator banks, and shielded clinical areas without active Wi-Fi or cellular connectivity.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this app require Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Intune deployment?
No. Because it is an offline-first Progressive Web App (PWA), staff simply add it to their home screen via web browser or QR scan. There are no corporate profile requirements or MDM profiles to push out.
What security permissions does the app request on staff devices?
None. The app requires zero special device permissions—no camera (after initial QR scan), no device location/GPS, no contact list access, and no Bluetooth access.
How are protocol updates pushed securely?
When a facility administrator updates a emergency code or extension, the changes are published to our secure Content Delivery Network (CDN) over HTTPS. Staff devices automatically fetch updated static assets the next time they connect to a network and open the app.
Does the app pose a threat to internal hospital/facility networks?
Zero threat. The solution is completely “read-only static media.” Without database connections, backend integrations, or user input forms, it presents no attack vectors for penetration or lateral network movement.
Does the PWA store any operational data or facility information on staff devices?
Only static, non-sensitive reference media (such as local code names and extension phone numbers) is cached locally via standard browser Service Workers. The application stores zero user inputs, zero logs, zero location history, and zero session data on the employee’s personal or facility device.
Do you use third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, or telemetry in the PWA?
No. To maintain strict zero-PHI compliance, the app contains zero third-party analytics (like Google Analytics or Meta Pixels), zero session-recording scripts, and zero advertising SDKs. The app communicates exclusively with our static content delivery network (CDN).
Are the physical badge backers safe for clinical and infection-control environments?
Yes. Badge backers are manufactured from heavy-duty, waterproof PVC designed to withstand hospital-grade chemical disinfectants (e.g., CaviWipes, bleach wipes, isopropyl alcohol). They are non-porous, wipeable, and compliant with standard healthcare infection control policies.
